Long Time!

It has been a really long time since I have updated this puppy! I have been super busy with work and party planning. It seems like all of my free time is spent on the computer working. Busy, busy! I hope that once we get into a groove with summer program that things will calm down a little.

Well, here is what's new. Last week I took Thursday and Friday off to just breath and get work done at home. Friday we got up nice and early, went to Des Moines and picked up my new Honda Odyssey! Yes, we finally splurged and got my dream van! Chris ended up coming home last Friday night after filling up the Durango with $3.30 gas and said we were going to look for a van. So we went to Dodge, Honda and Toyota asking about leasing their vans. Dodge didn't give us a good deal at all and we didn't care for their vans very much because they haven't changed in years, making them look outdated. So we went to Honda and they made us a great deal. Toyota has a very similar van, the Sienna, but they weren't able to even get close to the Honda. So we grabbed that deal right away. A week later I have my new van. I will put up a picture later.

After we went to Des Moines Friday we went home for Jackie's 8th grade graduation, then to her grandma's for a little reception. Then we went to Chris' moms house for a quick visit and it was off to my mom's house. We went to Starr's softball game and then to Coon Rapids Bowling Alley for Kelly's birthday party. Mom watched Caleb for the evening.

Saturday it was off to the races again. It was Chris' birthday so he left to go golfing with the boys while I went shopping for party supplies and Kids Club stuff. When I got home I finished cleaning the house, and making stuff for his party. He had friends over to watch the UFC pay per view. When the boys started arriving I went down to Ankeny to spend time with my cousins wife and their new baby. Dan was at our house. It was fun getting to visit with Janel, but not so fun chasing Caleb everywhere! They house wasn't toddler proofed, which is to be expected, so he was into everything, plants, cupboards, CDs, hitting the tv... ugh, it was not relaxing!

Then Sunday was spent scrap booking! I got Caleb's scrap book caught up from December! Lots of hours and pages were put into that book! Monday we did some shopping. That was about it.

Caleb started at a new day care yesterday. They have this small toddler sized house that has a slide attached to it. Caleb has a blast! He climbed up the slide then nose dives into the house. It is fun to watch him. He seems to like it a bunch.

Well, I better stop typing, I will put pictures on later!
