Well, Caleb's second birthday has come and gone. He is now our "big" boy. We had Caleb's birthday party last weekend. We had a pretty good turn out with all of our families and some friends. Caleb had a Handy Manny cake made by Grandma.
Yesterday was Caleb's actual birthday. Whenever anyone would ask how old he is he says "fife". Because that is the only number he knows since we always give fives! hehe! "Terrible" two's haven't hit too badly yet. He is still pretty easy going for the most part. Caleb has really begun talking a lot lately. His favorite word being "fruck", sometimes without the R. He likes big trucks and announces it frequently.
This morning Caleb got to go to the eye doctor for the first time! He actually did really well! I was shocked. He had his 2 year check up on Thursday. He is 27.2 Pounds and 34 inches tall. Which still leaves him sitting pretty between the 25th and 50th percentile. He is our little runt! But, the doctor predicts he will be tall like his daddy.
After Caleb's eye appt. We went to the Blank Park Zoo. It was a quick hour and a half trip, but we saw he whole park and Caleb enjoyed seeing some of the animals. As nice as the weather was, the animals were pretty inactive. He really liked seeing the fish, probably because they actually move!
We are planning on turning Caleb's crib into a toddler bed within the next couple of weeks. We have a twin bed for his after he gets used to sleeping without being in jail. I have a feeling we will be awaken to a curious Caleb in our faces on a regular basis!
We had a barbecue with our neighbors tonight. After we ate we let the boys get in the little "wading" pool that was in the back yard. They had a blast. It was pretty cold water, but it didn't seem to stop them. Of course they were all in their street clothes and street diapers. We had some pretty large bedonky donks going on tonight! They were especially lovely after all of the jumps to the butt! Caleb looked like he had one of those fake rubber butts on. It was pretty funny!
