Christmas

We had Christmas last weekend.  Thursday night we left to go to Coon Rapids so we could beat the storm.  Then Friday we had Christmas with Chris' mom.  We got her a curio cabinet for Christmas this year.  Caleb got a most annoying robot toy (very loud!!) and Carter got some cute Elmo toys.  Then that night we headed to my parents house we ended up getting there in time to meet them at church for the candle light service.  Caleb and Carter were pretty impressed.  Since it was Christmas Eve we had candles and the kids really liked it!  Then we had Christmas Saturday morning with everyone in my family.  We opened presents and ate breakfast then hung out and played with our new toys.  After awhile we ended up going into the bar in Glidden to have Christmas dinner with Uncle Roger and my cousins.  We left at a decent time so we could get home to prepare for Santa.  When we got home we decorated our cookies for Santa and set out some milk and then found some carrots for the reindeer.  Caleb was VERY excited.  I showed him the video from Santa right before bed and it was precious!!  In the video Santa asked Caleb if he was being good- and mentioned something about daycare- and Caleb would answer him.  It was great!  Christmas morning we got up and opened presents.  Caleb and Carter were both very excited when they saw the presents Santa left!  Carter got a dump truck and Caleb got a Lightening McQueen Car Wash.  We ended up going to brunch at Prairie Meadows after that, then came back home and played with our new toys.
