Horrible Blogger

I am a horrible blogger! I have been so busy that I haven't been able to even think about finding time to write on this. So here is what has been going on. We had Chris' family reunion a couple week ago. It went really well. Sharon also planned a big party for their 20th anniversary. Everyone had a blast- a few family members got pretty toasted! Thankfully my parents live close by, because we didn't even get sat down at the party and Caleb was already throwing a fit! He was a tired boy, so my parents took him home. The week after we had my family reunion. It was fun, got to catch up with some family members we haven't seen for quite some time. Caleb was a trooper during this ordeal, but insisted on putting food on his head the entire weekend! He is such a dork. The following week Sharon told us her doctor had scheduled her for an angiogram (spelling). So she was then scheduled to have he heart scoped to see what they had to do. Not even a week later they had to take her to Des Moines so she could have heart surgery. She ended up having 5 bypasses. Chris spent a lot of time in the hospital the last week. This past weekend after we visited Sharon in the hospital we took the trek down to the 'Ville and went to a wedding of one of Chris' college basketball buddies. It was fun- we ended up coming home the same night, so it made for a really long day. Caleb did really well though, he didn't get fussy a bit, just dazed out after awhile. :)

Well, enough about us- Caleb has been learning to climb! He has it down no that he can climb up on the couch and up into the window... ugh! We finally got his sandbox set up so now he has something more to do outside than just run away. he has learned how to climb the rock part of his slide and when he gets up to the top he goes head first down the slide! What a monkey! I taught Caleb how to blow kisses! It is too cute! He is growing up so fast and learning things like crazy! It is fun to watch him learn and then do it!
