It was a true surprise that we have another boy. I thought in the back of my head that we would have a girl, so when they pulled Carter out I was overwhelmed with emotion that I was the mother of 2 boys! The c-section went well. Once I had the spinal I felt great. Chris ended up "passing out" in the operating room. I laughed the entire time! They allowed me to watch the baby being born, which was awesome. Yesterday we spent the entire day sleeping off and on; I was really groggy. I was allowed to eat solid foods today and loved every second of not having to worry about insulin and blood checks! (yay bagels!) I am hoping ot get out early and leave tomorrow instead of Monday, but we will see how today goes. I have already gotten up and went for a walk, I feel pretty good. Carter looks identical to Caleb and was even the same weight! He is doing great. We are both working hard at trying to breast feed; it is coming along well. More updates later!
