Potty Training!

Last Thursday I decided to stop being lazy and start potty training Carter.  I figured I was just going to do it!  :0)  So, when he woke up that morning Chris put him in big biy undies!  He had an accident when we were up at the gym that morning while he was with the babysitters, did really well at home, then ended up having a couple more accidents at day care that afternoon.  Since he was at daycare all day on Friday, I just sent him in a diaper (mainly because I didn't have enough clean clothes to send with him!)  Saturday we were out and about all day so he was in a pull-up.  He wet in it a lot, but I also didn't take him potty very much since we were running all over the place.  That afternoon, evening he did really well though.  Sunday he was in undies all day, even when we were out and about shopping, etc.  He did great!  He had one accident all day and that was late afternoon when we were outside playing.  Monday he was in undies all day again and he did awesome!  We were in Ames all morning and I think I saw the Wal-Mart bathrooms way more than I wanted to!  But, he stayed dry.  His first accident was at day care.  He had a poo accident, I knew he needed to go, but he wasn't able to push it out on the potty- darnit.  Today, he was really good again!  He had a small accident at the gym, stayed dry all day for me- even at nap, and then had a small accident in the afternoon at day care.  I am really impressed with as well as he is doing.  I am hoping he will get the hang of pooping soon, but we are taking it a day at a time!
