Carter had his 4th birthday a couple weeks ago. On his actual birthday he ended up getting the stomach flu. He came home from daycare and mentioned that he had a tummy ache. I urged him to poop, then he puked. Ugh. He was so sick that he only opened one of his presents that night. We also had to postpone his birthday supper at Texas Roadhouse.

He had a small friends only party at The Playground for Kids in Ankeny the Friday after his birthday. He brought his friends Greyson, Jack, and Silas along to the party. I picked them all up from daycare then after lunch I drove them back. Then the next day we had a family party. Carter had an Angry Birds cake that Grandma Cake made for him.
