Potty

Carter has been all about the potty lately.  A couple months ago I checked out the Elmo Potty movie from the library and made Carter sit on his potty chair to watch the movie.  Since then he has been all about sitting on the potty.  Carrying it from the bathroom to the living room, etc.  The potty chair we had for Caleb is the one type with the lid that is also a stool, but the soft cushy seat has a "weinie holder" and Carter HATES it!  He does not like to have his weinie shoved underneath the splash guard.  So today we bought him his own Froggy potty that he straddles, so he doesn't have a splash guard to deal with.  He was very excited!  Right away when we got home he wanted his pants off to sit on it and he actually peed in it a little.  But he got so startled that he was actually peeing in the potty that he stood up and ran around the room.  So, my carpet was showered on as well!  haha!  I think he will do pretty well with potty training.   This is really early for him to be interested in the potty.  I am very happy about that!  Everytime he sits on the potty, though, he wants to watch "Melmo!"  haha!
