Getting Ready

For the past couple of weeks I have been working on cleaning our our downstairs. I brought a bunch of junk home from work when we didn't have the storage space, so I had to organize that and figure out what I want/need to keep- that took a couple days itself. Then I spent a day organizing my "teaching" room. Yes, I still have a bunch of crap I saved and gathered when I was going to be a teacher, maybe someday it will see the outside world again!

Yesterday I made Chris help me and we got some major stuff moved. My plan for our downstairs, if you have ever seen it, is to make the large room a toy room/family room. I want an extra area for Caleb to be able to play in this winter when we are cooped up in the house! The guest room will still have a lot of things stored in it, but we moved the weight machine and treadmill in there and we will be moving our old tv and stand in soon.

It still looks ridiculously messy and unorganized, but I think I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! Only a couple more weeks and it should be complete!
