Short Weekend

This weekend was sort of a bust! Saturday I had to attend and present at a conference in Cedar Falls. We had to leave Ames at 6:30 and didn't return until 6:30! It was a very long day. Chris and Caleb went to a family birthday party. I wasn't too disappointed about not being able to go, it always seems when we get together with that side of the family there is always some kind of drama, whether it be all day or the very last 5 minutes. Chris said the day went well, so it was the last 5 minutes that it happened. Where to have Christmas... Tell me your opinion, does it make more sense for 4 families to drive over 1 1/2 hours to someone's house for a Christmas celebration or 1 family to do that drive? Especially when you may have horrible weather... Ugh! Why is it even up for debate?

Anyway, Sunday we got up and Chris started putting in windows. Then we went to town to get groceries and some extra supplies from Lowe's. We got home, fed Caleb, and put him down for a nap. Chris put a window in and then it was time for Softball. The game was not a good one this week, but hopefully next week will be better. We got home from the game and played outside with the neighbor boys while Chris was still busy putting in windows. Chris was able to install 5 windows yesterday, he got done around 9:30. So pretty boring weekend... Next weekend we will be going home possibly Friday night until Saurday evening for my nephews 1st birthday.
