Today was the start of the 2nd week home alone with Carter. Chris went back to work today so he brought Caleb to day care at 8am this morning. I had an appointment with the dermatologist this morning, so Carter and I got ready to go into town, stopped by Wal-Mart and then went to my appointment. We ran through Mickey Dee's and got Caleb and I lunch, then went home to pick up Caleb from day care. I let Caleb eat his lunch in the car while we gave the van a much needed "shower". When we all got home (12:30) Caleb finished eating his fries and I went to put him down for nap. At 2:00 he finally stayed in his bed to take a nap. Carter and I checked my email then watched "Made of Honor" on the computer. We had the Huxley Communication guys come over tonight to hook up our new cable and internet. Caleb wasn't quite sure about them at first, but once he farted in front of them I think he was warmed up.
Caleb was super stoked about our new cable. We have a channel called Noggin that plays all the "good" Nick Jr. shows. "Go, Diego, Go", Backyardigans, Dora, and Blue's Clues! Yay! :)
Tomorrow my plans are to stop by the bank and open Carter's savings account and then after Caleb's nap run up to the 3c's and walk the track. My goal while still on maternity leave is to walk at te 3c's in the afternoons, then when I go back to work go inthte mornings. I would like Caleb to go with us because I know he enjoys the walks and playing with the balls inthe gym when we are done. It also gets him out of the house some more so he doesn't drive us quite as bonkers at night.
