Easter

This weekend was pretty busy. We went to Des Moines Friday night and then packed and wrote out Caleb's birthday invites the rest of the evening. Saturday morning we got up fairly early and finished packing. We left around 10 am to go to Coon for Chris' Easter and his neices 9th birthday. Caleb was super funny! He was belting out the Hapy Birthday song louder than anyone! He actually behaved very well on Saturday. He went outside a couple times without asking, but came right back in when we asked him to. Carter was laying on the floor chilling with his Aunt Karen and she yelled over to moe to tell me that he rolled all the way over on his own. He comes soooo close most of the time. If he would just get enough momentum to push over the hump that is his arm. Most of the time he is rolled up on his arm, then springs himself back onto his back. So, I did not get to see him roll all the way over yet. But it will come!

Saturday night we stayed the night at my parents house. Then Sunday we got up with the kids (which feels like the crack of dawn) and started makeing Bunny cake and potatoes. My dad had to leave to pick up Oba and Oji, so we sent Caleb with him. Carter fell asleep shortly after and Chris and I actually had almost an entire half hour of quiet time! So nice. My grandparents and sister and nephew came over for lunch. Caleb started to get a little naughty towards the end. We think it is because he was getting tired and bored. We came home and relaxed the rest of the afternoon. I made rice so we could cook fried rice for supper, but ended up making frozen pizza instead. We were both very tired. After the kids went to bed Chris got on the computer and booked our tickets for NYC!!! Yay! Then off to bed... zzzzzzzz.
