Carter has seemed more and more attached to his paci lately. Even when we are in the car he asked for one so he can close his eyes. haha. So, tonight when we were on the way to Ankeny we decided that tonight would be the night to get rid of the pacis. We spent the weekend in Omaha and Carter got to spend time with Baby Sage, so we told him we would pack up the pacis and give them to baby Sage. I wanted it to be more momentous for him, so we actually are going to give them to Baby Amelia tomorrow at our playdate. We went on a paci hunt tonight for all of the pacifiers and put them in a baggie. Tomorrow we will give them to Amelia as a final step into Big Boyhood!
I thought we would hear a lot of crying tonight for the paci, but after we bagged them up I had him put them straight into the car, so he would know they weren't even in the house. I thinked that helped. He got up a couple times to go "potty", but he is sleeping and quiet now. Good news!!
Potty update!!-- Carter is pooping in the potty just about everyday now. For the last 3 mornings he has gone straight to the potty to do his deed!! And, yes, he then ate "N M's" for breakfast!! :0)
