Chris had a co-worker from Hawaii come to Iowa this week to visit and learn about hwat corn really is here in the corn state. He is native Hawaiian and this was his first time in Iowa. Since he was in town the guys at work decided they would have a big get-together that wives were actually invited to! So we went to Chris' bosses house last night. I thought it was going to be pretty dull, but the night turned quite interesting towards the end. At first all the boys were outside talking and grilling and drinking while the girls were inside chatting. After we ate we heard the boys come in the house and go intot hte basement. Then the bosses' daughter came upstairs and told us the boys were getting out 'Just Dance' on the Wii. So, of course all of us girls went downstairs to watch! At first everyone was pretty timid about taking their turn, but we actually got everyone out on the "dance floor" at least once! The best part was when the 3 most unlikely men got out there and danced to "It's Raining Men!" Haha!! Totally awesome! I loved playing the game and definitely want to get it for work, I think the kids will really like it!
Speaking of kids, they stayed home with a babysitter, Anna. The kids said they had a good time. They got to go to the park and play at the baseball field.
